Hackney is consistently in the top 10 local authorities for educational performance from Key Stage 1 to 4. At Key Stage 1, we are ranked 1st for the percentage of pupils reaching the expected standard in writing, the percentage of pupils eligible for free school meals reaching the expected standard in writing and joint first for the percentage of pupils eligible for free school meals reaching the expected standard in maths.
